So I walk in at quarter till close... Now I understand that that can be rude. But I was an hour from home and had just come from the USS Nightmare across the street (haunted house). But they were still open and the waitress informed me that the kitchen would close in 10 minutes. I said that's fine and sat down and told her I wouldn't mind just taking it to go. For 10 minutes she walked everywhere but near me just to avoid me. After about 10 minutes and "the kitchen was closed" she stopped at a nearby table and asked if she could take their checks, and as she was doing so they said sure but I think the gentleman behind us here was trying to order. She proceeded to tell me that the kitchen was closed and that I was out of luck. I told her I walked in and talk to her she warned me the kitchen closed in 10 minutes and that I didn't mind taking my food to go I didn't need to eat in. She threw her hands up and got all pissy. And then told me if I'm going to get rude with her that she'll just go get her manager (I didn't get rude she was just mad cuz she's going to have to work an extra five minutes (poor Hooters girl... Life must be hard...)). The manager walked over and politely asked if everything was alright and what was going on. I told him the whole thing and he made it right and let me order some wings. You would think that a Hooters girl couldn't pass up a good tip so I left her $0.25 in the monster tab. Next time maybe she won't be so rude or maybe next time Hooters should just hire a girl that isn't rude. Either way I will never be back to Hooters near Newport Kentucky on the river. And I will never recommend to another person I meet if that's the way they treat customers that walk in while they are still "open"!

I stopped at this location on 10-26-17 at about 10:15 pm. Sat at the bar for over 20 minutes. It wasn’t very busy. I was ignored the entire time. Not one employee spoke to me at any time. I ended up leaving with nothing.

Don't typically visit Hooters. Service was good. Sat out on the patio. Good views of downtown Cincinnati. Just had a beer and smoked a cigar.

AVOID THIS LOCATION.

The staff is always friendly. So kudos for them. WARNING IN ADVANCE DO NOT SIT CLOSE TO THE KITCHEN. The kitchen staff shouts to the top of their lungs when there is an order in. I wear hearing aids and it almost hurt my ears let alone my wife. Food is decent the same as you would expect from a good wing place. Bathrooms (mens) are abysmal at best. Again with the plywood on doors? And if you read these reviews they typically get the same response from owner as always. It is a generic response that I'm assuming is plugged into a copy paste folder somewhere. Decent food but dirty place overall.

Should go out of business. Restaurant of bad food, bad taste (socially). It belongs back in the 80's.

I will never stop here ever again, and recommend others do the same.
